What are the products on sale at Gdm Food and who are they intended for?
You will find a large choice of dairy products and delicatessen products. Butter, eggs, yoghurts, cheeses, milk, creams, ... (Truffles and Caviars during Christmas and new year)
The clientele is mainly composed of professionals of the food industry such as restaurant owners, bakers, butchers. But also communities (schools, hospitals, nursing homes, non-profit organizations, ...) and individuals who love to come and compose their cheese platters according to their desires.
Can I pick up Readywise products directly from GDM Food?
Yes, but it is imperative that you place an order in advance to be sure that your products will be available.
ReadyWise products
Where do I store my ReadyWise foods?
This depends on where you live. ReadyWise products are composed of freeze-dried and dehydrated components and are affected by temperature, humidity, oxygen and light. Food storage is best in a cool, dry place (ideal temperature is between 10 and 13°C)
What is the shelf life of meals?
Studies have shown that freeze-dried and dehydrated foods can be stored for up to 25 years or more. For optimal shelf life, it is recommended to store food in a cool, dry place, such as a basement, at a room temperature of 10-13°C.
How much water is needed?
On average, each single serving requires 1 cup of water.

Should I use boiling water?
Hot water speeds up the reconstitution process. ReadyWise foods will be ready to eat faster when hot water is used. However, many foods can be rehydrated and ready to eat regardless of the water temperature.
Where can I find nutritional information about your meals and breakfasts?
Each product page contains nutritional information for each pouch contained in the bag/bucket. In the images, you can see each individual bag with the corresponding nutritional information.
How are ReadyWise foods packaged?
100% of our foods are packaged in airtight Mylar pouches. These pouches are then stored in durable polyethylene buckets for easy storage. Please visit our ReadyWise packaging page for more information.
What allergens are in ReadyWise products?
Milk, soy and wheat (gluten) are the most common allergens in ReadyWise products. For specific ingredients by product type, please see the nutrition labels.
Does the ReadyWise manufacturing facility make any other food products that currently contain allergens?
The ReadyWise facility manufactures a limited range of products containing nuts.
Are these allergens present in the ingredients or raw materials used by ReadyWise?
ReadyWise sources raw materials from suppliers who manufacture other products in facilities that may contain shellfish, fish, peanuts or tree nuts.
What steps are taken to ensure that these allergens are not present in ReadyWise products?
ReadyWise has an extensive allergen control program. Each raw material supplier must provide us with a certificate of analysis along with test results verifying that the raw materials they supply are free of shellfish, fish, peanuts and tree nuts. In addition, through our own internal allergen identification, inventory segregation and sanitation practices, we make every effort to ensure that our products are allergen-free.
Why use both freeze-dried and dehydrated ingredients?
ReadyWise uses a combination of technologies to achieve the best taste and quality.
Some ingredients set and taste better when freeze-dried (vegetables, fruits, meats), while others taste better when dehydrated. In these cases, dehydrated ingredients offer all the benefits and better value than freeze-dried foods.

France and Benelux
How are my products shipped and what is the average delivery time?
Our packages are shipped by Bpost for Belgium and by postal operators such as DHL, Colissimo and Post GDLux for foreign countries.

For shipments in Belgium:
- Bpack 24h: Delivery to a physical address
- Bpack@bpost : national relay solution
(You receive your parcel on the next working day after the parcel is deposited in the Bpost network. You have 15 days to pick up the parcel at the collection point).
- Bpack 24/7: automatic parcel distributors
(You receive your parcel there on the next working day from 11am, as from the date of deposit of the parcel in the Bpost network. The parcel vending machines are accessible according to flexible schedules (up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week). You have 5 days to collect the parcel from the parcel machine.
For shipments to France, the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg:
- Bpack World Business: Delivery to a physical address made by various postal operators. Ex Colissimo in France.
- Bpack@bpost International: Delivery to Relay points via DHL in the Netherlands and Mondial Relais in France
Concerning the delays:
We do our best to deliver as quickly as possible depending on available stocks.
Once the packages are in their network, Bpost will deliver them to you:
The next working day for Belgium.
Within 3 to 4 days for France
Within 2 days for the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
Will I be informed of the delivery of my order?
Yes, you will receive an automatic e-mail.
What should I do if my package is damaged?
Refuse your package upon delivery and return it directly to the delivery person, making it clear that you do not accept it because of its condition. Please also send us an e-mail immediately to: contact@gdm-food.com with possible photos and we will try to find a solution.
What is GDM Food's return policy for ReadyWise products?
You may return any unopened and unused merchandise within 14 days of purchase.
You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for the return of your item. Shipping charges are non-refundable and a restocking fee of 30€ will be deducted from the refund amount.
If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a credit or refund.
To initiate a return;
- Send us an email to contact@gdm-food.com
- Return the item to the address provided to you.
- Keep your shipping documents as proof of shipment in case the returned goods are lost. (Returns shipped with a value of over 180.00€ must be insured. We are not responsible for returned goods that do not reach our returns department).
We will notify you by email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 20 business days of receiving your return.
